Comment: Grad of Ashley High 1960. I think that makes me 39+.

Comment: My mother was born in Ashley in 1921. She was a Klein. Two of her sisters Mary and Emma married Bader brothers and two of her brothers Eddie and Gottlieb married sister Delores and Marcella but don't know their last names. Mary's daughter Vivian married a Ketterling. My mom's farm is still there and I think is owned by a Wetzler. I took a trip there in 2003..the first time there and I fell in love with Ashley. I would like to come back again.

Comment: I recently visited Ashley and abzalutly loved it. It was such a kwaint litle town. We went swimming in the pond and even catched a tirtle. It was so good with the homemade studel from the market. Cant wait to return in the fall for more grate times!

Comment: What a quaint little town. I would highly recommend a visit for anyone who is looking to get away from the big city life. There is a great little restaurant in town that serves excellent catfish. yum yum!!!

Comment: Hello citizens of Ashley! I would like to thank the wonderful Christian who helped with when my car broke down on the way to a my 50% design review this past weekend. I have never seen such hospitality in all my travels. I only wish I knew the young mans name so I could send him a token for his kindness. Comment: Hello all! Just wanted to post a quick good day to all of my friends and family in Ashley. I grew up on Center Ave N and would have to say that is was the best years of my life. Most of you probably know that I now live in Compton and boy what a difference. I have not been back to Ashley since Earl had his hip surgery (thanks for all the well wishes by the way). I hope to come back for the big celebration if I can get the time off of work. Congrats citizens of Ashley on 125 Years!!!

Comment: How can I start?! I don't want to use "quaint" because sooo many people have already used that word - I would describe it as - "picturesque"!! I'm from the BUSY, BUSY city of L.A. so it was soooo nice to mingle with some laid back country folk!! I felt like I was sent back to the 1980s when times were simpler!! The only problems I had was the presence of meat (Yuck!!) and gas-guzzling trucks (Eww!!)!!! Hello, everyone eats vegetables and drives hybrids now!!!

Comment: Hello lovely citizen os Ashley ND. I just heard about this wonderful site and figured that I would check it out. It is quite an improvement over the last site! I like it a lot. I like the pretty colors on the site and the picture on the home page. That looks like Old-Man Druff's boy, Dan. Anyway, I love the new web site. Cant wait to check back in a couple of days to see it there is anything new!!! I plan on visiting the site often. I will use it to catch up on the goings-on in Ashley.

Comment: Loved your site. My mother was born in Ashley. Her maiden name is Edna Sayler. Her father was Emil. I am into family history. Do you know how I can find information about my great Grandmother Maria Pfeifle married to Gottlieb Sayler in 1896. I have much information regarding the Sayler's/Meindingers but nothing about the Pfeifle's. Any suggestions would be helpful. Sarah

Comment: First of all allow me to say what a quaynt little town you have here. I came last September to pick up so stuff that I won on the Ebay and fell in love with the ice cream shop. In my world ice cream is a savory delight not something sweet to dessert with. Wow i prefer your world! My more beautiful in the mouth than the Germs. make to eaten. I also love the Roost to get so nice steinenhoffens of brew. The like to serve it warm like in my contry so I feel like I was in Stundentgartednham!! Great job fellers. I hate the brew thats a snowin drink. I liked my hours in you country town.

When I was in the White House I had heard of the wonderful pheasant and deer hunting you have up in North Dakota. Comment: Good job on this website! I get to Ashley a couple times a year and always drive around to revisit all my old haunts and check out the places where we did our childhood pranks. A great place to be.
