The Ashley Public Library is located at 113 1st Avenue NW or 1/2 block north of the Ashley Super Valu store.

The library has approximately 10,000 books. These books include adult fiction, junior fiction, and many childrens books. There is a good selection of non-fiction including history, autobiographies, biographys, centennial books and a variety of books on tapes and videos.

Services are available for children including a story time hour which is Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 11:15, and holiday parties for children.

There is a summer reading program for children ages 4 to those in 2nd grade.

Another feature in the library is a computer with internet connection for patrons use.

The library is able to order any specific choices from the State Library or other libraries throughout the country.
