ASHLEY QUASI GOLF TOURNAMENTS
We plan on running two separate 9-hole tournaments on Thursday, June 20th. We feel this will give more people an opportunity to golf without being committed for the entire day so they can enjoy other activities as well.
The first tournament will be a three person scramble starting with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. There are no handicap, age or gender restrictions for setting up your teams. If you would like to play but do not have a three person team we will help you find teammates. The tournament will be flighted by total score at the end of the tournament and cash and other prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the tournament.
The second tournament will be an individual stroke play tournament starting at 1:30 p.m. If we have enough entrees we will flight according to the year of your high school graduation (or anticipated graduation for juniors). We did this for Reunion 2000 and it worked out well. If you have a foursome or other group you would like to play with let me know and we’ll put you together. It will also be a shotgun start. Again, cash and prizes will be awarded following the tournament.
Entry fee for each tournament will be $25/golfer. We will have lunch available at the clubhouse between the two tournaments. Carts will be available to rent for these tournaments and for the duration of the Quasi.
We also plan on having the golf course and clubhouse open most of the week and weekend during the Quasi for those of you who need more golf or a quieter place to relax and socialize with old friends.
Thank you for your interest in the Quasi and golf. We look forward to visiting with old friends and making some new friends as well.

2013 Club Members, Well, it has been a year now that the entertainment committee has started the “2013 Club” which is a savings account set up at McIntosh County Bank, as our fundraiser for the upcoming celebration in June this year. Because of the member donations which have been received, the fundraiser is a HUGE success!! I was going to close out the account and turn over the funds to our 125th Treasurer, but, I have had some people ask if they can donate yet this year, so I will keep the account open until June.
I am now starting on the design for the “2013 Club” buttons to get them ready for the Celebration. You will be able to pick up your button at the 125th Headquarters on Main Street during the Celebration. If you are unable to attend Celebration please email maureen@drtel.net or call Bob at 701-288-3640
If you still would like to contribute to the “2013 Club” (you are not committing to anything beyond a donation) you may send a check of any amount you are comfortable with and made out to 2013 Club to: MCB PO Box 100, Ashley, ND 58413.
