The Ashley Senior Citizens Club was organized in 1970. The Club now has approximately 65 members.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday exercise sessions are held at 11:15 am. Crafts and quilting are held each Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Senior Center
The County Health Nurse is at the Center on the third Wednesday each month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
On the last Wednesday of each month cake and ice cream is served to celebrate the month's birthday's and anniversaries.
Each 2nd and 4th Monday, an evening meal is served at 6:00 pm. The meal is prepared by South Central Adult Services at the Center. On the 2nd Monday, the Club holds their monthly meeting following the supper. January through October, on the 4th Monday, there are cards and games after supper, followed by snacks.
South Central Adult Service serves meals 3 days per week at the Center. Funding for the meals is provided through Title lll of the Older Americans Act. The meals program began in 1987. In addition to the meals at the Center, home delivered meals are provided to seniors who are unable to participate at the meal site due to physical disabilities. Meals are also served at Harmony Homes on the Center's serving days.
