Wind Interests of North Dakota (W.I.N.D.) is a consortium of local groups from across North Dakota trying to realize a dream for their communities... economic and community betterment as a result of wind energy development. W.I.N.D. formed as a nonprofit corporation and includes as its members economic development corporations, job development authorities and limited liability companies whose make-up includes county and city government entities, local economic development groups or simply individuals working together to promote the development of the wind resource in their area. We all face the same hurdles in developing local projects. Membership in W.I.N.D. will encourage cooperation and sharing of information for our mutual benefit.
